The second step is to make a metafile with the extension .ram (RealAudio Metafile). The ram metafile is simply a text file containing a special url telling the Real server to send your audio or video clip to the browser.
To create the metafile use an ASCII text editor such as Windows' Notepad or the Mac's TeachText. Type in the path to your audio or video clip in this format:
pnm://server1.atlas-host.com/rafiles/your-domain/name-of-clip.ra
(Note: The name-of-clip extension will be either .ra or .rm depending on whether your clip is audio (.ra) or video (.rm). When you put your domain name in the path do not include the .com extension.)
Save this text file with the extension .ram.
If you want to automatically play several videos or audios one after another, list each file on a separate line in the metafile:
pnm://server1.atlas-host.com/rafiles/your-domain/myclip1.rm
pnm://server1.atlas-host.com/rafiles/your-domain/myclip2.rm
pnm://server1.atlas-host.comt/rafiles/your-domain/myclip3.rm
Most EZ Publishing servers have RealAudio capabilities. The above configuration depends on which server you are located on. If you don't know which server you are on, visit the EZ Control Center
